今年全米で大ヒットしNo１になった「See You Again」とは？

皆さんもご存知の大ヒット映画『ワイルド・スピ－ド』

その最新作の≪SKY MISSION≫。

 

「アナ雪」を抜き今年全米№１を記録し、全世界興行収入第5位！！を記録した。

 

そんな大ヒット映画だが、今回の作品はとても悲しい作品となった。

それはメインキャストの一人、ブライアン・オコナー役のポール・ウォーカーが

２年前 2013年11月30日不慮の事故で亡くなり、

この『ワイルド・スピ－ド』SKY MISSIONがが彼の遺作のなってしまい

世界中のファンが彼を惜しんだ。

そして、この作品の最後にある、仲間との別れのシーンが、
亡きポールとの別れを惜しむ姿に見え、
見ているファンが涙を流した。

 

この時に使われている曲が、「See You Again」という曲だ。
この曲を歌っているのが、まだこの時は無名の新生代のポップスター
チャーリー・プース（Charlie Puth）だ。

 

アメリカ出身で23歳のチャーリーはなんと、

デビューから2か月で、世界的ラッパーのウィズ・カリファと

「See You Again」を制作し、この映画の挿入歌に大抜擢され話題になった。

 

別れのシーンで、チャーリーのキレイな歌声がさらに感動をさそい、
発売から5週目でなんと全米チャート1位を獲得！
さらに通算12週にわたり一位を獲得し、今年の全米№１になった。
